Kyo-Koromo , the name of the store, sells and offers rental high-quality kimonos for
weddings (including a photo shoot plan in Kyoto's streets).
The shop is located in a prominent position on the banks of the Kamo River, within a
5-minute walk from Shimogamo Shrine and an 8-minute walk from the Kyoto Imperial
Palace.
Kyoto is the center of kimono production, and Kyo-koromo has connections with many
kimono retailers, so it stocks over 500 items. These include white wedding kimonos, colored
uchikake kimonos, crested hakama kimonos, furisode kimonos, tomesode kimonos, obi
belts, and accessories.Everything is unique as each item is handmade in a traditional way, to
highest quality.
